Baldeep is a Qualified Architect with experience working in the public sector on community-focused placemaking projects with stakeholder engagement, co-design and social value at the heart of each of the projects.

As part of the third cohort of Public Practice, and prior to her role at Soundings, Baldeep took on the role of Urban Design Officer at Haringey Council, where she focused on Strategic Regeneration projects and a range of Housing Delivery projects on multiple sites, leading her to focus her career on community engagement and participatory design practices.

Baldeep is passionate about having young people at the forefront of engagement and co-design. She feels that young people should have a voice in helping shape their future.

Previously, Baldeep has volunteered for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust (now known as Blueprint for All), RIBA Student Ambassador and the Architects Benevolent Society.
