Prior to joining Soundings, Jessica worked in Waltham Forest Council’s Local Plan team as part of a Public Practice Associateship. She has also worked closely with communities in the London Borough of Southwark; this included co-devising an ‘urban room’ on the Old Kent Road.

Underpinning her engagement work is more than 25 years’ experience as a journalist, working primarily for consumer publications such as Time Out, covering cities and how we live in them. She now uses her editorial, curatorial and communications skills to run engaging consultations and produce clear, accessible reports and materials.
